Soluble grades (PORTEX grades), are widely used as Inorganic Incombustible

High temperature binders, in Refractories, Ramming masses, Gunning &

Patching mixes, Refractory mortars, Lining, and Castables;

Doing away with cumbersome two component systems.

Considerable ease and precision in formulations and ready to mix systems possible.

Anhydrous powders are not soluble in cold water application.

These grades are known as ANPO grades.

Portex grades add to the Green strength

The fused strength is promoted by Anhydrous varieties (ANPO grades)

USES:

In insulating bricks

In ceramics, tiles, and insulators

In applications where Sodium Silicate in dry form is preferred

In various other industries like detergents, grinding wheels, papers etc.

In Detergents, as replacement of Sodium Metasilicates etc.
